Dr. Tammy Davis, CPDT-KA, PhD Ed, CNWI

Tammy is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, holding her CPDT-KA designation from the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. She is a Canine Life and Social Skills Instructor and Evaluator, a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, a S.T.A.R. Puppy Evaluator, Certified Instructor in the National Association of Canine Scent Work, and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.

Tammy is also an accomplished educator. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, a Masters in Reading and Language Arts, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration.

Tammy shares her heart and home with four rescued labs

Tory, who Tammy nursed back to health after she was left as a sickly puppy in an overnight shelter drop box, and who is now a therapy dog working in classrooms and nursing homes.

Cody, whose life-threatening injury led Tammy circuitously to Dee Ganley, who would become an early training mentor.

Smittals, who Tammy saved from euthanasia due to aggressive behavior toward people, and who is now a friendly young man always happy to make a new friend.

Cooper, Tammy’s latest addition to the family came to her at 9 months old after his owner was killed in a car accident.
